Nice to
meet
you
Hi, nice to meet you

I’m Charlene, a wife, mother of 2 adult children, and big believer in holistic nutrition and alternative healing. My goal is not to band-aid your symptoms, but to get to the root cause of why you’re experiencing those symptoms in the first place.

My story

Although I was raised with good nutrition and the care of a Naturopathic Doctor, my own story didn’t really start until I was pregnant with my first child 25 years ago. At that time, my husband was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis, an autoimmune disease. He was in a lot of pain, at only 29 years old. The treatment plan was an indefinite use of steroids. I did my research and was convinced this was not a good way to go. After consultations with various health care professionals, we decided to treat him with more natural holistic remedies. 3 months later when he went back to his specialist for testing there was no trace of the autoimmune disease in his body. That was 25 years ago, and he’s never had a relapse.
That experience was a definite turning point. I was a young mom and knew I wanted to raise my family with good nutrition and alternative healing practices to keep us healthy. We moved around for my husband’s job, which allowed me to have many experiences with different holistic healthcare practitioners and alternative healing modalities. This was clearly my passion, but other than using my knowledge to raise my children and keep my family healthy the time was never right for me to explore this as a career.
After working as an accountant for 25 years, I left the profession in 2019. My children were now grown, and it seemed like the right time to do what I’ve always wanted to do. I enrolled in the Edison Institute of Nutrition and began taking online nutrition courses. In early 2023 I graduated with First Class Honours, earning my Diploma in Holistic Nutrition. I then furthered my studies with Edison by taking the Live Cell Microscopy training, which allows me to do the Live and Dry Blood Analysis to further enhance my practice. My extensive training with Edison has allowed me to become a member of the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants and use the ROHP designation, Registered Orthomolecular Health Practitioner.
I fully believe that the body has an amazing ability to heal itself when given the proper nutrition and supplements that it may be missing. I have witnessed this firsthand in my own family time and time again over the years. I may be a recent graduate, but I have years of real-life lived experiences with the knowledge I have learned and am excited to be able to share it and help you on the road to healing and optimal health!
